So! Tonight! It's the biggest game in the history of English (nay world) football (that's soccer to you americano types). It's the return leg in the UEFA Europa League (what do you mean you've never heard of that competition? It's the world famous waste of a good Thursday evening throughout Europe night where less than average teams play each other to win a prestigious trophy, the only bonus for which is now qualification to the following years UEFA European Champions League)... Anyway... Between England's 2 (how dare I say this) biggest clubs in terms of footballing historical and current success. Vanchester Disunited v Liverpoop. The poop are 2-0 up after the first leg at a pulsating and scintillating atmospheric Anfield last week (with shouts of 'murderers' causing more upset than the shocking display by Vanchester) however Van the Man believes (no one else does) that his team can beat the poop and progress to the next round. Whatever the score, it will certainly be a passionate night both on the pitch and on the terraces. I have my seat booked...... Nope, not a £50 stadium seat (though they have begged me a few times to buy a ticket over the last two weeks) but a free and comfortable and warm TV side seat in my lounge.

Got Barcelona right. And i lost the game with Juventus in again lol. Well almost every time i bet with Juventus they lose, so betting against then now wasnt a bad idea. But.... Anyway, following the same thinking losing almost every time with Manchester United, I have placed a single with Liverpool now and they are losing too so far Oh well. Good luck.

So, the draw for the quarter finals of th champions league has just taken place and my tips for the teams to reach the semi finals are: Real Madrid Barcelona Bayern Munchen Paris Saint Germain
Looks like the semis will be far more interesting than the quarters, though Barca v Athletico should be a cracker.
