Hello, playing atm the $2.20 Bounty Builder $15k GTD, with $18.944 final prize. It was a rly painful tourney. I was doing great at start, got 3 knock-out for $2.25. I was at 50+ BB, got in a hand that lost everything, i had literally 1 BB when we were 1600+ players still in the tourney, with 756 places paid, managed to win and got again at 30+ BB. Now in the money. Rly painfull tourney with UP and DOWN on chips.

I think all tournaments in pokerstars are painful when you lose. In other poker rooms you can make good tournaments without emotion but in PS the situation is changing dramatically. Their software is a killer. Anyway, i wish you much success in the future to earn big money.

Hi CALICUL, why did you said this about the Poker Stars software? You think that it have a strange variance that moves away shamelesly the logicals probabilities (some day I have to give some money to S3translator...)? Or you said that this software benefits someones an not others? A few guys had wrote about the software and I don´t understand what´s the matter.. I´not defending the room or the software, I only try to understand this stuff and you are a big player who can teach me...

Hello Maragatero, i'm not a big player and lately i started playing poker less. I was talking about this pokerstars software because here all in situations of preflop or after flop are not good for me, are very disastrous. I was referring to the fact that some are very lucky and many players have a terrible bad luck just like me. I do not mean a short period of time. I'm talking about many months and after that i want to leave pokerstars definitive. My english it's not that good. Sorry for that because i can not explain it very well.

Do you say that other places do not give those crazy hands like in PS that the river ends up killing you? Many times the Riverstars term has crossed my mind, but since I have also won hands with little% in my favor, I shut up. That is to say, I think that if one analyzes all the hands in general (both won and lost) the software works well.

Simple, the software just destroys me in most cases and in this way i can not make money. Some players are very lucky but for me pokerstars is bad luck. I won a little money from poker 3000 dollars + in 888, duck poker, netbet and ful tilt but in ps i lost 400 $ and their software has always been bad with me when it came to getting me closer to the money. I think they do not let me to make money there.

Stars are about to increase their rake again, just stop playing there. They are making it impossible for new players to move up levels with this. All your money is gonna end up in the pockets of people who play 100/200$ blinds. Poker economy is very similar to real life economy. Given enough time, all the wealth gets concentrated at the top and it doesn't come back down unless the rich feel generous or if the whole system crashes and needs a reset otherwise the pyramid becomes a very big mushroom where all the $ is at the top.
Just try to stay away from money-hungry corporations like Amaya. They have no morals so don't give them your money, it will never come back down... For every rich person there is 100 poor people. Half of the world's population eats with less than 2$ USD a day yet we have the ressources to feed everyone plenty. We need to stop giving our money to rich corporations who only want to make more and more profit.

Unfortunately, it seems that way. That's why I'm looking to find a new room. In my case I am more recreational, but I do not want to lose money either. And the PS rewards system hurts. Besides this, it seems that in my country (Uruguay), they want to block this type of games. I think, from what I've heard, it would not affect Party Poker, but I still do not know (even if it affected 888):

TheMachineQC I left here some comments about the pokerstars poker room and i was voted with minus. I've heard more horrible comments in youtube, google, ps chat and another rooms. Many players have started to hate these amaya group. The number of ps players dropped and in future will become a mediocre camera because their strategy will destroy what was once good or beautiful. Amaya group is a team of donkeys. Money first and i do not care about the players...
I one time see someone win ,..a other forum tournament,.. He had one chip left and he really won the tournament,.. The topic was called a chip and a chair But thats not gonna happen to one person twice,..that would be insane.

Anyway in pokerstars there are many strange situations. Players with small stack wins first place in tournaments.

I have won some small tournaments or Sitn gos with that sum of chips too. But never with 1!!, And I have not seen others win either, or even recover from that amount. But many times I have seen, like yesterday playing an Omaha 2.20 PLO8, as well as can recover, after a bad hand, and get pretty fucked in the stack, and reach prizes. As long as you do not lose your composure and you play well, there are possibilities. With some luck too

In the past i sent some emails to pokerstars and i told them they were not correct and they do not want to let me make money. I received answers but i counterattacked with evidence and i think i disturbed that moderator. His answer was: Sorry for your misfortune but here in pokerstars, cards for software are made by the best mathematicians in the world. I told them that: if the cards are made by mathematicians in this case the poker room is cheating. They responded by threatening: if i send any email to make them cheaters they are closing my account definitively. I have not sent but it's clear: cards in their software are not random. They are arranged by mathematicians to annoy players and to eliminate the players faster from the tables. In this way they enroll in other games and the room commission increases much faster. It's very sad and not correct.

Yes this situation where you lose big chips from you bank and then win some back and then become big leader and then lose all is not one time situation, I too have such tournaments and theu are fun to play, but only if you win in the end but if you lose then it is a kot of negative emotions

It's a shame that they are handled like that, but I think that's what happens in reality. It does not help that the tournaments take so long, I imagine. If the players took so long to lose a tournament they might not register in another. In short, they are softwares that are not made to lose money, and they never will In spite of that, one should not stop playing well, and not let these ups and downs alter the game, leaving tilt.

They want to make money fast. Many players have understood this and gave up playing in jokerstars. It is also a decision of the players themselves. It is true that there are more turbos or hyper turbo, but there are also regular ones. In my case, I always try not to play in turbos because I am more comfortable at tables of 8 min or more. But even in those tables there are people who want to make quick money, and risk their entire stack (1.5k, 3k or 5k) when the pot is just 1 bb. And the worst thing is that sometimes others pay with worse hands. You see a lot in the bounty builders

I love games with 10 minutes blinds because you have more time and more chances to make the good decisions. With 3,4 or 5 minutes you have to play good cards or those interesting cards and risk more often. This strategy ruins and it's not good. I do not want to play like i run somewhere... 10 minutes is the best for me when i want to play for a few hours.
